Player of the Night: Carlos Boozer - 24 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 10-18 FG, 4-6 FT in Utah's 110-101 win over the Heat. This was one of the toughest choices for Player of the Night I've had, with Boozer, Dwight Howard, Brandon Roy and Josh Howard all posting big lines in wins. However, Boozer was the most impressive of the group (well, we'll get to Dwight in a moment) and his Utah Jazz prevailed over the Wade-weilding Miami Heat. And, as you know, with a healthy Dwyane Wade on the court, winning against the Heat has suddenly become impressive.
Game of the Night: Magic 123 - Warriors 117 in OT. What a ridiculous game. Jameer Nelson goes head-to-head with Baron Davis, outplaying the elite point guard and putting up a 22 point, 8 rebound and 11 assist line; Dwight Howard continues to tear up every player in the league, scoring 18 points, grabbing 23 rebounds and blocking 7 shots for Orlando. Oh, and the game went into overtime, where Howard dropped four of those 18 and put away the scrappy Warriors. This Magic team is for real, folks, and you'll hear me saying it all the way 'til June.
"Glue Line" of the Night: Josh Smith - 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks. In case you're wondering: yes, Josh Smith does lead the NBA in Glue Lines. There are some things you can't pick up from NBA.com's Stats page.
Watch Tomorrow: Suns-Pacers in Indiana. The games tomorrow aren't too spectacular, so just enjoy watching some Suns basketball.
