Player of the Night: LeBron James - 38 points, 4 rebounds, 13 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 11-25 FG, 14-15 FT, 2-8 3pt as Cleveland slid by the Celtics 109-104 in OT. LeBron--stop me if you've heard this before--single-handedly defeated one of the league's better teams. He has literally been unreal this first month of the season, and if it weren't for the Cavs' record (which, at 9-6, is showing signs of improvement) he'd be the unanimous choice for MVP at the moment.
Game of the Night: Cavaliers 109 - Celtics 104 in OT. Like I said, LeBron was a maniac. It looks as if the Cavs aren't yet ready to give up their Eastern Conference crowns...which, as a Celtics fan, ticks me off a little bit.
"Glue Line" of the Night: Jamaal Tinsley - 15 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists, 4 steals, 1 block in Indiana's 112-110 win over the Nuggets. Tinsley has proven himself to be somewhat of a Baron Davis-lite this season, doing a little bit of everything on the court but shooting horribly from the field.
Watch Tomorrow: Wizards-Spurs in San Antonio. This is a game that I personally have been looking forward to ever since Gilbert Arenas went down and Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison began dropping huge points. The Wizards have been surprisingly good since the loss of their star player, losing a couple nail-biters to Golden State and Memphis but taking down Dallas away from home. I can safely say that I've actually enjoyed Wizards basketball even more since Agent Zero's injury, despite how exciting it is watching him play.
