11/12/07

Player of the Night: Allen Iverson - 32 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 14-20 FG, 7-8 FT, 2-4 3pt in Denver's big 122-100 win over Cleveland.

Game of the Night: Hornets 84 - Nets 82. I knew this would be a good game, and Chris Paul (27 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists) and Jason Kidd (14 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists) didn't disappoint in this matchup of elite point guards. To add to his fantastic line, Paul drove in the layup that won the game for New Orleans with 2.6 seconds left. Take that, Kidd.

"Glue Line" of the Night: Andrei Kirilenko - 15 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks. AK-47 may officially be back, averaging 11 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2.3 blocks, 1.6 steals and zero mohawks on the season. Perfect.

Watch Tomorrow: Heat-Bobcats. I know it seems like a strange matchup to be interested in, but even though the Heat are 1-5 on the season and the 'Cats are 3-3, these teams are relatively close in skill at the moment. Plus, the relevant-again Shaq's matchup with Emeka Okafor should be intriguing.

AK-47 is single-handedly saving my fantasy team from mediocrity. Of course, it helps that I have Okur and Boozer to go along with him, but still.

Heat/Bobcats is a game I'd be watching if the Magic weren't on.
